Accessibility Standards
This website has been designed to be accessible to as many persons as possible by ensuring that the design features and underlying code comply with either legislation or recommended standards promoted by creditable organisations.
Unfortunately, there is in fact very little in the way of legislation, however we are aware of the following bodies who provide up to date standards and very good validation services to test pages of a website for example, W3C, The Cynthia Says Portal.
We are pleased to say that the Charter Commercial Website has been submitted and already passed an extensive range of tests and mark up validation services, checking documents like HTML, XHTML and CSS for conformance to the W3C recommendations and various other standards.
