What‘s the extent of our product range and our services?
Manufacturing -we are fabricators of COMAR and SENIOR aluminium window, door and curtain-walling systems, which are designed to meet the challenges of innovative design and our Customers expectations for robustness and practicality. In addition, we also manufacture and supply ‘Brise Soleil' sunscreens and Louvre Screens. Our Louvre Screen products can be glazed-in or stand alone type, incorporating doors if necessary.
Installation – we will install all of our product range but any specialist products or services, such as scaffolding, manually/electrically controlled winding gear, smoke control gearing or automatic door operators are supplied and fitted by trusted Sub-Contractors (in all cases, an established, competent and fully insured corporate body). We will be happy to supply a list of our trusted Sub-Contractors if you wish to make your own assessments.

Do all our products conform to current British Standards and Building Regulations?
We work with our Customers to ensure that all current and relevant Regulations and Standards are being adhered to. All aspects of our work will conform to British Standards where a standard exists, i.e. BS6496 for powder-coating; BS6399-2 for windloading calculations, etc. Our systems conform to many of the requirements for aluminium windows specification BS4873. In the absence of a single British Standard for framing systems, we conform to the recognised Industry standards adopted by The Centre for Window & Cladding Technology (CWCT).
Can we design the window/door/curtain walling element of a new or existing building for you?
This is not our area of responsibility. We have systems that have been designed to function correctly within certain parameters and our job is to work with the building designer (Architect/Surveyor) to advise how our products can be applied from both the aesthetic and practical viewpoints.
Can we give advice on optimum glazing for design purposes?
When we input the areas of glazing into our estimating software, this automatically gives us a U value report for the purposes of the Document L2 Building Regulations. We can then adjust the glazing U value choices to gain the optimum overall design U value. We can also advise on specialist glazing products marketed by Pilkington Glass, Saint Gobain and Euroglas.
Are we a member of a recognised Trade Association?
We are a member of the Centre for Window & Cladding Technology (CWCT), the principal advisory body for our Industry.
Do we produce working drawings for approval of products and installation methods?
We will produce full working drawings for contracts over £25,000 + vat and we can offer general product details and a small number of job specific drawings for smaller contracts.
Do we employ our Installers, or do we use Sub-Contract Installers?
We employ the huge majority of our Installers so that we are able to maintain a consistent quality of workmanship. However, we do supplement our own Staff with experienced Sub-Contract teams (usually known to us) at times.
Who are our present Customers?
We have a broad Customer base consisting of smaller and medium size Building Contractors, independent Architects, Local Authorities and Installers who choose not to manufacture. We are approved Contractors to Dudley and Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Councils and also Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Warwickshire County Councils.
Where do we stand on Health & Safety within our organisation?
As we are Manufacturers and Installers employing around 35 staff, we are required to maintain a comprehensive written Health & Safety Policy and a set of procedures for monitoring and reviewing our performance. We are professionally advised on Health & safety matters by Lloyds Health & Safety Advisory Service . We are glad to say that we have not experienced a serious injury, or ever been prosecuted for a serious breach of Health & Safety Regulations.
